Parish Activities

Coffee Pot: A community café in the church building. Open on Wednesdays (12-2pm), Thursdays (3-5:30pm) and on Saturdays (1-5pm).

JAFFA (Jesus A Friend For All): A club for 7-11s in the church hall on Thursdays 6:30-8pm. Closed from 11th December to 15th January. Each week there is a varied programme of crafts and games, a Bible Story, refreshments and some sort of practical challenge.

Mums & Tiddlers: For parents, carers, babies and toddlers (0-3). Tuesdays 10:15-11:45am.

Friday Youth Group: The Friday Youth Group is held on Friday evenings in term time from 7.30 to 9.30 pm.(see YG page)

Over 50’s lunches: Once a month on a Wednesday about 25-30 people, share a hot meal. The lunch follows a chair- based exercise class for over 50’s (most of whom are in their 70’s and 80’s) run in the parish room by the local council. There is a short talk in the style of a ‘thought for the day’ at the end.

Small groups: Meet around Cambridge to study the Bible, pray and encourage one another. Groups exist for young adults in their 20s (Tuesdays, 7:45pm, church hall), adults (in homes, mainly Tuesday evenings), men (Tuesdays 7:15am, church hall) and mums (Thursday, 10am, 24 Geldart Street, with supervised crèche).
